Summers End

In the middle of a hot season, Ty's father pulls up out of nowhere and saves horses in a cattle truck. Amy is shocked when she finds out that one of the horses is Apollo who belongs to Ashley. Ty's father is up to no good when he asked Ty to live with him. Lou tries to buy the horse from the cattle truck but has to come up with double what they were previously sold for. However Ty's father steals the money and leaves in the middle of the night leaving problems for all. Amy and Ty kiss in the rain.Ty feels conflicted because he really likes Amy but feels he is like his Dad. Ashley comes to live at Heartland because of problems at home.

Ty's father shows up with horses that were being brought to a slaughter house. 

Ashley leaves home. 

Ty's dad asks him to live with him. 

Amy finds out one of the horses is Ashley's horse Apollo. 

Ashley comes to see Apollo.

Ashley sleeps in her car.

Ashley is offered to stay at heartland and keep Apollo. 

Ty and Amy kiss. 

Ty tells Amy he can't do this cause he doesn't want to hurt her. 

Sweetheart of the Rodeo

With the annual Hudson Heritage Rodeo looming, everyone at Heartland gets roped into the action and intrigue of broncs, bulls, beer, beauty queens, and belt buckles. Ty signs up last minute for bull riding, and Amy gets mad at him, as she is worried that he would have been hurt. Amy then discovers that Ty is forming a friendship with a girl named Kit. Ashley's horse is sold, and Ashley tells Amy that he was the only horse that she had a bond with.

Amy tries roping to be on Calebs team. 

Ty decides to try bull riding. 

Amy is mad at Ty cause he could have gotten hurt. 

Kit congratulates Ty. 

Ashley gets drunk. 

Ashley tells Amy her mom sold her horse. 

Amy drives Ashley home. 

Ashley makes Amy drive off the road. Ty and Kit find them. 

Amy and Caleb hang out. 

Holding Fast

Out for a ride along the river, Amy comes across an RCMP officer trying to save a young boy from drowning. She tries to help his horse, who will no longer go by water, and she ends up helping both the horse and the officer. Lou is trying to figure out her relationship with Scott. Lisa is avoiding Jack, who thinks she is going to dump him. Mallory tries to get rid of Jake.

An officer saves a young boy. 

Amy helps the officers horse and goes for help. 

Amy and Ty go for a ride. 

The officer asks Amy to help his horse who's afraid of water. 

The officers horse loves Sugarfoot. 

Amy uses Sugarfoot to help. 

He follows Sugarfoot through the water. 

Ashley starts barrel racing. 

Amy and Ty try to help the officer. 

Amy gets him to bond with his horse. 

Corporate Cowgirls

Lou puts a brave face on lingering insecurities when former coworkers from the high-powered career she gave up become customers at her corporate equine retreat. Caleb bails on leading the trail ride, and Amy helps Lou, despite her planned dinner with Ty, and takes Copper, despite Mallory's protests. When Amy is gone, Mallory decides to take Spartan on a ride but loses him and finds him eating poisoned grass, and Ty has to save his life before Amy gets back. One of Lou's friends kisses Tim, and she gets mad. Lou admits Scott said no to her proposal because he wasn't sure. They broke up.

Lou's NY friends come to the dude ranch. 

The girls pick out their horses. 

Lou and Amy take the girls on a trail ride. 

Mallory rides Spartan. 

Mallory loses Spartan. 

Mallory finds Spartan eating grass. 

Ty and Mallory find Spartan sick from the grass. 

Ty searches to find how to help Spartan. 

Ty works to save Spartan. 

Dancing In The Dark

Lou and Scott's romantic weekend plans are interrupted by the early arrival of the dude ranch's first customers: a travel-blogging couple named Marley and Shaun whom Lou must bend over backwards to please. While on a cattle drive, Amy and Ty talk for the first time about his absence. Amy and Ty and Jack and Lisa kiss. Tim buys a ranch. Caleb and Ty get in a fight. Mallory has to deal with Jake. Lou proposes to Scott.

The gang goes on a cattle drive. 

Lou and Scott planned an alone weekend. 

Scott has an emergency vet call. 

Work on the cattle drive. 

Jake tries to get close to Mallory. 

The first dude ranch visitors show up early. 

Jack and Lisa kiss. 

Ty tells Amy why he left.

Gift Horse

Amy tries to balance school, chores, and her father's showjumping ambitions. With her school work struggling and joining a showjumping circuit which means shows every weekend, Amy can't do everything. Meanwhile, Lou is searching for dude ranch horses and going through disagreements with her father.

Mallory moves to Heartland when her parents go on tour. 

Lou shows Tim the dude ranch. 

Amy struggles in school due to her busy schedule. 

Mallory is home sick. 

Caleb and Ty fight. 

Lou looks for dude ranch horses. 

Amy tells her dad that she's giving up show jumping because it's hurting her grades. 

Mallory moves her stuff in and feels much better. 

They open the dude ranch.
